If you want your TriFive to handle like a Corvette, then you need a Corvette Platform
Hot Rod Jim’s TriFive frame dose just that, giving you a more stable platform to start with. Our 4 rail design give amazing lateral support and with its mounts spread across both rails when tied into the TriFive’s floor supports it creates a grid pattern making this frame as strong as you can get without going to a full tube chassis and gutting the car. The Corvette suspension updates the sprung components giving a better geometry and newer the newer technology found on modern super cars to your classic ride, preparing it to do battle with the 21 century roads and cars.
The "BASIC" Chassis -
Hot Rod Jim’s Tri Five C4 Rolling Chassis "BASIC" is our bare frame powder coated with a complete Corvette Suspension rebuilt painted and installed to the frame. Our Rolling Chassis only needs you to tighten down the lock nuts and install your driveline.
The Basic Rolling Chassis uses the earlier, 1984-88.5, C4 corvette suspension. This suspensions is ½ wider that a stock, 60 inches, and only requires 16 inch rims to clear the brake calipers. This chassis is ideal for someone looking to upgrade the ride but keep stock type rims and tires to keep the old style look.
Air Rides Shockwave -
Air Ride’s Shockwave is the king when it comes to the air world. All the performance of a Coil over shock and the comfort of air ride, these single adjustable shocks come installed on all 4 corners ready for the best ride you never expected from your TriFive.
Modifications -
This Chassis requires No modifications to your original body. The only modifications required are on Nomads and Station Wagons. Their stock gas tanks will not clear the Corvette Rear Suspensions.

Limited Slip differential with 3.09 gears.
All Aluminum Rebuilt C4 Corvette Suspensions.
All New Urethane Bushings installed.
New Rebuilt Rack and Pinion in 2.0 or 2.5 lock Ratios Your Choice.
New Tie Rod Ends.
New Rebuilt Brake Calipers Red or Black.
New Brake Pads and Rotors.
New Universal Joints.
All Aluminum Suspensions Components are Painted in a Urethane Silver 2 Stage Automotive Paint.
QA1 Single Adjustable Coil Over Shocks on all 4 wheels.
Your choice of Motor and Transmission Mounts
Rims and Tire -
This Suspensions is only 60 1/2 inches wide (Stock TriFive's are 60). With the small brakes you only need to run 16" rims to clear the calipers.
Shipping and Handling -
The most effective method of shipping a rolling chassis is by car hauler. you will need a set of rims and tires that will hold air. We can supply none road worthy rims and tires for $100.00 for a set of 4 tires for shipping or you can chose to ship us your rims and tires. Shipping averages $1.00 a mile one way, or you can pick the chassis up your self, we are in the shop 7 days a week.
Handling Upgrades -
